Department of management studies was started in the year 1998 with the vision of creating tomorrow's business leaders. The programme is designed to make the students business ready and capable of responding to complex business requirements that arises in a changing global business environment.

         The department has well qualified faculty members with rich experience in industry and academia. The department specialized in the areas of Finance, Marketing and Human resource Management. The course is conducted on semester basis, four semesters spread over two academic years. The two year programme has an effective mix of concept learning and application oriented. During the first two semesters, the students are provided with basic inputs of management studies that form a strong foundation for their future learning. The third and final semesters are planned to provide functional expertise to the students of their specialization subjects. At the end of fourth semester, students are required to undergo a project work for about 12 weeks in an organization.
