Department Profile

         Al and ML course is dedicated to research, development and application of that shape the future of technology and society. This course plays a crucial role in advancing the field of AL and ML, contributing to various domain such as healthcare, finance, robotics, natural language processing, computer vision and more.

    By the end of the undergraduate programme in CSE, graduates will be able to:
  • PO1: Engineering Knowledge: To apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems
  • PO2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex Engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO3: Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate considerations for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations
  • PO4: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • PO5: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

Workshop on Full Stack Development

CENSA has organized a two-day workshop on Full Stack Development on 20th and 21st January 2023 for 5th semester CS&E students. Mr. Chethan S P, MD & CEO, Tackle-D Private Limited, Bengaluru, was a resource person for this program. He has delivered the information about the current requirements of full-Stack in the software industry. The workshop continued with hands-on session in software application development using database connection, front-end application design, and client-server database.

Technical talk Tech-Talks

CENSA has organized a technical talk Tech-Talks “CYBER- TALK” for 3rd semester CS&E students in seminar hall on 12th January, 2022. Mr. Durgaprasad C M and Karthik K V from 3rd semester CS&E, delivered the talk. They delivered the information on cyber security, courses available on cyber security, soft skills, white hat skills, black hat skills and application of cyber security in real world. All the 3rd semester CS&E students are attended this session and acquired the knowledge.

CENSA has organized Coding Competition “ERROR 2.0” for 3rd and 5th semester CS&E students on 8th December 2022. The coding competition is done in different programming languages such C, C++, Java, Python. The students are allowed to choose their preferred programming language for participation in the competition. This session was handled by final year students. All the 2nd year and 3rd year students are participated in this session.

CENSA has organized the inaugural function of CENSA 22-23 and fresher’s day “ABHYUDAY” on 10th December 22 in college auditorium. The chief guest Er. Ashwin L Shetty, Ex Engineering Manager Airbus, Australlia and Administrator, Vidyarashmi Group of Institution, Savanoor inaugurated the function. He focused the thought on “Technologists are Wonderful Creators of the Modern World”. Later he motivated the students to spread their knowledge according to their strength and ability.
