Mechanical Laboratory

• Started in the year 1986

• Qualified and experienced faculty team with three doctorate degree holders, two staff members are pursuing their Ph.D and six M. Tech degree holders

• Offers under graduate course in Mechanical Engineering

• M. Tech course in Product Design and Manufacturing with an intake of 18 students

• Recognized as research centre to offer Ph.D. and M.Sc. Engineering programmes

• Separate departmental Library with more than 500 books

• Mechanical Engineering Association MEA

• Continuously organizes seminars and technical talks from eminent Professors & leading industrial personalities

• Conducts state level technical paper presentation contest namely Dynamech for the students every year

• Conducts AICTE-ISTE sponsored national level STTP and other programmes for faculty members and industrial personnel

• Metrology and Measurement lab

• Heat transfer and design lab

• Machine shop

• CAD/CAM Lab with latest software's such as Solid edge, Nastron, Unigraphics, Auto CAD, Master cam, Catia V5, with 40 IBM computers and LCD monitor.

• CAED lab for 1^st year students
